November 13, 2010 - Florida Romance Writers workshop - Melissa will present the workshop "Inject the Paranormal and Psychic into your Romance Novel" at the November FRW meeting.

Inject the Paranormal and Psychic into your Romance Novel

Have you ever wondered how to make your psychic characters more true to life? Or how to include paranormal events in your plot so that your readers feel the emotions associated with the event? Here’s your chance to pick the brain of a professional clairvoyant who has dealt with paranormal events her entire life. Melissa Alvarez will teach you how to make your character’s paranormal experiences and psychic abilities more believable. You’ll learn some of the common misperceptions regarding psychics and the paranormal, the difference between including real paranormal in your writing and “paranormal romances” and tools to aid you in tapping into your own psychic abilities. There will be time allotted at the end of the lecture for a question and answer session. If you have questions about psychic abilities or the paranormal but never knew who to ask, then this lecture is for you!

December 6 - 10, 2010  - Free Psychic Readings - This workshop is my chance to give back - the workshop only consists of free psychic readings. You will be able to submit your questions to the group from December 5 to 8th. This gives everyone plenty of time to get their questions in and gives me plenty of time to get the readings completed before the workshop ends on the 10th. I will not accept questions on the 9th or 10th so you'll need to make sure you get all of your questions in early. The workshop will be held on the Paranormal Workshop group.
